The Mateus Alfresco Garden is an environment in which to eat, drink and relax with friends and family. Within the garden are two distinct areas, one for eating and entertaining and one for quiet after dinner relaxation.
Distinctive rustic reclaimed granite setts are used in curves to produce soft fluid shapes. All this is softened further by a wild and relaxed planting style using ferns, grasses and subtle pink and white flowers such as foxgloves.
Lighting the way along a cobbled path are unusual bespoke garden lamps made from Elm wood trunks with rosé coloured glass lenses.
